Cala Goloritzé is also a popular destination for trekking, with the possibility of reaching the beach on foot through a path in the Supramonte di Baunei. The approximately 3.5 kilometer walk has a difference in altitude of 470 meters and takes about an hour down and an hour and a half up. The beach is also the habitat of the queen's falcon. Cala Goloritzé is surrounded by 500 meter high cliffs covered with Mediterranean scrub, which perfumes the air, and a forest of holm oaks and strawberry trees.
